Creative Clay. Kid Friendly!

Service Description

Join us for our Saturday Creative Clay Days! Sessions are for all age groups including kids! Our minimum age requirement is 5 years old, and we require all children under the age of 15 to be accompanied by an adult. Hand builders will have a demonstration at the beginning of each session. You are not required to follow along with the demonstration, but you are welcome to. We encourage creativity and will be here to guide you through the process. The wheel is available ONLY for those who have experience on the wheel and can work independently. A day for trimming is included in your session, a time and date will just have to be scheduled at the end of the session. Please visit our 6 week course to learn how to throw on the wheel. The price for kids aged 5-14 is $45 and includes 2.5 lbs of clay. Ages 15+ is priced at $55 a person, and includes 5lbs. The use of our tools, cost of glazing, and kiln firing is included for all participants. We have additional clay for sale at $7 for 5lbs if your creativity exceeds the amount of clay that's included! Glaze colors will be selected at the end of your session. Our staff will glaze and fire the pieces in the next available firing. You will be notified when they are ready to be picked up. Our kiln firing cycle follows our 6 week class schedule. Please understand that pieces may take up to 3 months to be completed.
